In the period from 8 to 10 December 2017, in Ovčar Banja was held training on topic “Project Cycle Management”.

The training was organized within the framework of the project "ALTER - Active Local Territories for Economic Development of Rural Areas" funded by the European Union, as part of the activities "Organizing activities to build the capacity of national rural development networks in line with the country's needs and support existing rural development networks". The project is implemented at the national level by the Network for rural development of Serbia.

On December 7, 2017, a workshop on the topic “LEADER approach as an instrument of rural development at the local level” was held in Ljig. The workshop was attended by representatives of the public, civil and business sectors.

On November 11 2017 in Paraćin a workshop on the topic “Promotion and support of LEADER approach, Community Led Local Development, sustainable rural development and the role of CSOs” was held. On October 20, 2017, a meeting on the topic “Youth in Rural Areas” was held in Vrsac. The meeting was attended by young people from the rural areas from the Vrsac area (mostly students of the secondary agricultural school "Vrsac"), representatives of the youth from the vicinity of Nis, representatives of PSS "Agrozavod" from Vrsac, and the professors from the secondary agricultural school "Vrsac".

In Podgorica from 10 to 13 October 2017 the Forum for Rural Development of the countries of South-East Europe was held. The Forum was organized in cooperation with the Standing Working Group for Regional Rural Development of South-East Europe, which organized the Agricultural Policy Forum entitled "Sustainable Agricultural and Rural Development for Accelerated EU Integration of the Western Balkans ".

On September 29, 2017 in Belgrade was held  a session of the EU National Convent (Task Force on Negotiating Chapters 11, 12 and 13) on the topic “DISCUSSION ON THE FINDINGS OF THE SCREENING REPORT FOR CHAPTER 12 — FOOD SAFETY, VETERINARY AND PHYTOSANITARY.”
