Rural development

On May 3rd, 2017, a consultative meeting on the topic “Improving information of farmers, as well as improving the decision makers and small producers' dialogue regarding the establishment of adequate procedures for the sale of traditional products” was held in Ljig. The meeting was attended by representatives of local institutions, CSOs, as well as people from local communities who are interested in this topic.

On April 28th, 2017, a consultative meeting was held in Sremska Mitrovica on the following topics:

- Improving farmers 'information, as well as improving the decision makers and small producers' dialogue regarding the establishment of adequate procedures for the sale of traditional products

- Advocating better support of local self-governments for rural tourism development and linking service providers with promoters of tourism

On December 15th and 16th, 2016, in Banja Vrujci was held training on topic “Policy research and analysis”. The training was organized within the framework of the project "ALTER - Active Local Territories for Economic Development of Rural Areas" funded by the European Union. The project is implemented at the national level by the Network for rural development of Serbia.

On December 8th and 9th, 2016, in Kragujevac was held training on topic “Lobbying and advocacy”. The training was organized within the framework of the project "ALTER - Active Local Territories for Economic Development of Rural Areas" funded by the European Union. The project is implemented at the national level by the Network for rural development of Serbia.
The training was attended by representatives of CSOs from Serbia, as well as colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

On November 29, 2016, in Vršac was held consultative meeting on topic “Defining priorities of rural development of municipalities, regions and Republic of Serbia”. The meeting was organized within the framework of the project "ALTER - Active Local Territories for Economic Development of Rural Areas" funded by the European Union. The project is implemented at the national level by the Network for rural development of Serbia.

The meeting was attended by the actors of rural development of the South-Banat and Mid-Banat regions:

On November 24, 2016, in Niš was held consultative meeting on topic “Defining priorities of rural development of municipalities, regions and Republic of Serbia”. The meeting was organized within the framework of the project "ALTER - Active Local Territories for Economic Development of Rural Areas" funded by the European Union. The project is implemented at the national level by the Network for rural development of Serbia.
