Training "Transparent and accountable governance of CSOs"

Training "Transparent and accountable governance of CSOs" was organized on December 13 and 14, 2018 at Hotel "Lider S" in Vrnjacka Banja.

Through the presentation, individual and group exercises and discussion, the participants presented their experiences, exchanged ideas and summarized the conclusions regarding the transparent and responsible management of civil society organizations.

Two-day training is divided into topics in several sessions:

Session 1
- Basic concepts and main principles of good governance

Session 2
- Operations and processes in CSOs and governance and management roles 
- Management and executive functions in CSOs

Session 3
- Decision making processes and typical problems in governance of CSOs
- Typical CSO management problems

Session 4
- Systems and procedures that support accountability and transparency of CSOs
- Responsible management mechanisms

The training is conducted under the EU-funded Networking and Advocacy for Green Economy (NAGE) project, with the Serbian Rural Development Network as one of the partners.
