EU National Convent -Task Force on Negotiating Chapters 11, 12 and 13

On September 29, 2017 in Belgrade was held  a session of the EU National Convent (Task Force on Negotiating Chapters 11, 12 and 13) on the topic “DISCUSSION ON THE FINDINGS OF THE SCREENING REPORT FOR CHAPTER 12 — FOOD SAFETY, VETERINARY AND PHYTOSANITARY.”

The session was organized within the framework of the project "ALTER - Active Local Territories for Economic Development of Rural Areas" funded by the European Union, as part of the activities " Organizing national platforms with policy discussions (forums, debates, etc.)". The project is implemented at the national level by the Network for rural development of Serbia.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management and other relevant institutions (food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary policy), as well as representatives of CSOs (members of the Working group on negotiating chapters 11, 12 and 13) interested in this topic.

Representatives of the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management presented the findings of the Chapter 12 Screening report, after which CSO representatives asked them the dynamics and scope of work to be done in the coming period.

Following the discussion, the Working group on Negotiating chapters 11, 12 and 13 reached conclusions on the further activities.
