Training “Lobbying and advocacy”
On December 8th and 9th, 2016, in Kragujevac was held training on topic “Lobbying and advocacy”. The training was organized within the framework of the project "ALTER - Active Local Territories for Economic Development of Rural Areas" funded by the European Union. The project is implemented at the national level by the Network for rural development of Serbia.
The training was attended by representatives of CSOs from Serbia, as well as colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
On the first day of the training, participants were presented with a theoretical part on advocacy (how to advocacy, advocacy planning) and then worked in groups, with each group selecting a specific topic for advocacy and presenting it to the other participants in the plenary.
On the second day of training, the participants were presented with a theoretical part about lobbying and then practiced in groups, with each group presenting their own lobbying method to the other participants in the plenary session.
At the end of the training, participants were presented with examples of advocacy and lobbying practices from the country and the region.
