On 23 and 24 October 2019 in Sokolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, was held national training on the topic “Rural youth and women employment, based on the social entrepreneurship and collective short supply chain”.
Training was organized through the project “Innovative Support to employment of Rural marginalized groups – SyneRgi” supported by Visegrad International Fund.
Participants (youth and women from short supply chains) were able to gain knowledge about:
- Short Food Chains as a chance for employment of rural marginalized groups
- Support employment of youth and women from rural areas thru LAGs and LEADER
- Social entrepreneurship based on rural development
Trainers selected by the Network for Rural Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina (participated in ToT within the project) presented to the participants joint training module, working materials and presentations developed during the project implementation.
The participants, along with the trainers, defined possible next steps in supporting short value chains in their communities.
