INFO MEETING WITH STUDENTS OF ECONOMIC AND COMMERCIAL SCHOOL IN KRALJEVO

The Network for Rural Development of Serbia held an info meeting with high school students on the topic of green economy and green agriculture.

The information meeting was held on November 21, 2024. with the students of the Economic and Commercial School in Kraljevo. During the info session, the moderator was professor Jelena Čolović, and the lecturer was Dragan Roganović.

During the info session, the students had the opportunity to learn about the causes that led to climate change, the international framework for combating negative climate change, the EU Green Deal as a strategic framework for improving the environment and reducing the negative impact on the environment. circular economy as a new economic approach and green agriculture and agricultural development models based on the principles of the "From field to table" strategy.

During the presentation of the topics, Professor Jelena Čolović moderated the discussion and exchange of ideas and opinions of the session participants. The students showed an enviable level of interest in the presented topics and actively participated in the implementation of the info session.

The info meeting was realized within the framework of the projects "Academy Farm to Fork for the green Western Balkans - our common European future", co-financed by the European Union and "Active youth - dialogue on Green Agriculture policies and the experience of the EU Common Agricultural Policy" co-financed by the Ministry of European integration of the Republic of Serbia.
